[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’ve really been looking forward to posting about the MAC Stack Mascara because they’re one of a growing number pf brands that recognises people have differing brush preferences and would actually very much like a choice of wands. So, it’s the same formula with two brush options.
As a customer, I’d opt for the micro brush every single time but both brushes have a staggered bristle arrangement that work at all angles to reach all the lash hairs.
The formula is a plant based gel with added Vitamin B – it’s a very deep black and nicely silky in the application. While I think we all know that mascara formulations have very similar bases, this does seem to be a rather superior one which is reflected in the price (£26 HERE – I’d opt for the £12 HERE try-me first). I love, love, love the packaging – MAC Stack is a bit like the Ferrari of mascaras. I can’t think of one that looks sleeker or better or more representative of high performance. They’ve got a ‘virtual try-on’ which is very good (a friend and I have been dong the Dries Van Noten lipstick try-ons all morning and it’s brilliant HERE) so you have an idea how it looks at volumising (big brush) or natural (small brush) levels.
