After a week of ultra bright lip colours, I thought I’d throw in MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colour. The collection has been absolutely raved about by matte lip lovers for vibrancy and depth of matte (mattiness?). As anything matte on my lips makes me look as though I’ve sucked a bag of lemons, these are 100% not for me!
There are 15 shades (they’ve already launched HERE for £21 each) ranging from deep reds through to more pastel shades. I think Feels So Grand (red) is quite literally the reddest red I have ever come across… it’s completely amazing.
So, in the swatch above are: Personal Statement, Rich & Restless, Re-Collection and Feels So Grand. I actually like the short wand on the MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colour – I wish the same wand was on all MAC gloss products – it’s easy to use and accurate. Although, we are talking minute degrees of ease and accuracy, but I’d like to see more brands doing stumpy not wafty in the wandage department.

I love MAC, especially lip products. Yes £21 is a little pricey but it is worth it x

No probs I can only dream of when MAC used to be that cheap 😀
WOW these are so pigmented !! They are a little pricey for how much you get, but I will check them out because of the color selection.

These look stunning!!
I definitely need these in my life. Matte Lips are my favourite without a doubt!
Oh wow! The colors looks so vibrant. Love anything by MAC!
As someone who loves liquid lipsticks I am really excited for these… But I’m not. The shades are the same as everything else out on the market, which was a tad disappointing. I have my eye on Oh Lady though. BUT it’s sold out everywhere!
I think I’ll go swatch the shades before I buy any, just incase I’m not that impressed after buying.
