Erm, okay… it looks like the 1960’s are calling! The MAC Mariah Carey All I Want Lipstick launches in February and while I think it’s supposed to be a retro throwback, personally, I don’t want to be anywhere near this!
It’s a kind of warm beige-gold frosting effect – I honestly don’t know who this would suit; I can’t think that I ever see anyone wearing this kind of colour but I expect there will be a big rush because it’s Mariah when it launches in February. I think the B team did this one :-).

I am a huge lover of MAC but this shade just isn’t for me. I don’t like shades that are very metallic looking and too shiny x

I am thinking warm bronze skin tones (think Indian or North African/Middle Eastern) would suit this almost as a shimmery nude. Despite my gene pool, my skin tone is too pale and sallow to pull it off. Still cosmetic diversity is good for everyone.
Surely this will just look like shimmery foundation lips? The two looks I like the least on myself.. haha xx
I can imagine this may look nice on some very dark skin tones.
I think it’s awful! I wouldn’t care to wear it if they gave me one. I see it as a big nothing. Totally selling something based solely on a name.
How about using it as a top coat over another color?
I think it’s maybe exactly for that, so it might mix up really well.. but I don’t know if I’d buy a top coat to be honest.. I’d just buy a lipstick with all the right elements in the first place.
Subculture lip liner all over the lips, stone lip liner around the outside rim, this in the middle… So 90’s/early 2000s and Pammy Anderson/Brentwood Chic, but I love it! This reminds me of gel and bubbles lipsticks!
