There’s nothing in the MAC Faerie Whispers collection that I don’t love – the imagery is absolutely stunning and the whole vibe just fits.
In the top picture, you can see Foiled Shadow in Joy Toy and Enchanted Forest. The thing with foils is that the more you blend them, the shinier they get, so these are really about a magical gleam on lids.
The top shade is Enchanted Forest and the bottom shade is Joy Toy. There are 8 foils in the collection and they’re £16 each (HERE). If you’re after anything from the MAC Faerie Whispers collection, I’d recommend these because there is nothing quite like them.
Next up, I have a Cremesheen Glass in Calypso Beat (HERE); a creamy peach shade with a tiny bit of golden shimmer, and Spellbinder Blush Powder (HERE). I love a peachy blush (preferably in a creme formula) and this is a very powdery, pastel version.
Any day of the week I would wear the Cremesheen! It’s £17.50 and there are four shades, while the blush is £18.50 and comes in two shades.
The two MAC Faerie Whispers lipsticks I have are A Sprinkle of Magic (peachy shade) and Among The Fireflies. A Sprinkle of Magic is described as a dirty orange frost but in fact, it’s more of a soft peach infused with gold. It’s really pretty (I couldn’t wear it myself) and I don’t think I’ve seen another colour quite the same. The soft brown of Among The Fireflies is gorgeous – a kind of nude mocha toned enhancement to your own lip colour and properly wearable. The lipsticks from the collection are £15.50 (HERE).
I totally *get* this collection – the magical inspiration and the charm of it, and I think there is something for everyone in MAC Faerie Whispers. It’s been a bit of a MAC day today – originally I was going to post this tomorrow, but it’s just launched and is limited edition so a lot will probably have disappeared by then!
