MAC Divine Night Mineralize Eye Shadow
MAC Divine Night Mineralize Eye Shadow

Every time I get samples of Mineralize, I am scratching my head. I just don’t get them at all. I am not a fan of mineral make up in general.. the textures just don’t excite me and I find them drying on the skin. The three above, Guilded Night, Captivating and Until Dawn (£19 each) are part of the Divine Night Christmas range from MAC and available from November.

In swatching, they’re so pale and I find the product hard to pick up on the brush! It’s me, I know, because the MAC Mineralize ranges are always so popular but on this occasion, they’re leaving me cold.

I can get along with the Skinfinish (£24) a little better – although I just can’t see why anyone would want gold on their face.

Swirling these together creates a highlighter, or obviously the shades can be used individually. They’re so pretty, but in my make-up bag, so pointless. I’m such a MAC fan but this line is one that just doesn’t resonate in any way at all. :-(.

Products are all part of the Divine Night range, launching in November.
