MAC Cremesheen Pearl Lipstick 2015

MAC Cremesheen Pearl
MAC Cremesheen Pearl Lipstick 2015

As someone who will take gloss over lipstick any day of the week and is very shy of red, this collection shouldn’t really be my thing – BUT, I’ve been wearing Sweet Sakura (at the end) and absolutely loving it. My original post on the collection is HERE. There’s something quite gentle about the finish on these – the sheen is mid to high without looking glossy as such which I think is very flattering – far more so than mattes.

But there are reds and there are reds… Sweet Sakura is a good red for me as it turns out because it doesn’t look alarming, but at the same time it’s quite impactful. Aside from a Bobbi gloss, it is one of the only reds I feel I can venture into (although while I was in Italy I owned it with a D&G red… but that was Italy!).

The MAC Cremesheen Pearl Lipstick 2015 is permanent (I think… hard to keep up) so there’s no immediate rush but like everything MAC, they will disappear. If you’re after Sweet Sakura (other shades swatched are Obi Orange and Pretty Boy) I’d go sooner rather than later. You can find them HERE. £15.50 each.

  1. The shades are gorgeous and I like the cream sheen lipsticks by mac. The matte ones tend to flake off which is not a good look!x

  2. I know this is a pretty random comment but where is your star bracelet from? It’s gorgeous! xx
