L’Oreal Glam Bronze Eau de Soleil

Imagine exactly the same texture as Eau de Teint but with a slightly darker, more bronzy tone and you have L’Oreal Glam Bronze Eau de Soleil. It’s rather a verstatile product (and smells delish – like fresh sun tan oil) because you can use it as an all over weightless base to lift your tone, or for contouring and bronzing.

On the inside of my arm it looks more golden and bronze than it actually is – I’ve swatched it quite intensely – I’ve tried it as an all over base and currently, because I have some tan, it works really well. However, if you have a paler tone, then L’Oreal Glam Bronze Eau de Soleil will work well as a liquid bronzer for cheeks. When you see it in real life, L’Oreal Glam Bronze Eau de Soleil looks like it has golden metallic shimmer running through it but once on the skin I really couldn’t detect any at all.

It’s been covered quite heavily by French bloggers, so it must have already launched there, but it’s any day now for the UK, so keep a look out in Boots and Superdrug.

  1. I can’t wait for this to come out, it looks really good!

I imagine this would work nicely for neck/chest bronzing too!

  3. Jane, would you use it for contoring on top of your foundation or before you apply your foundation?

    1. Jane

because it’s so light, I would say over foundation.

      1. Cool! I might give it a try when it comes out. I’ve been using the bourgeois bronzing primer (the chanel dupe) but it’s a bit too orange on top of foundation

I’m actually soo excited for this! Thinking of mixing it with my True Match foundation to give me a glow. Marks and Spencer have a similar bronze illuminator as well http://www.marksandspencer.com/liquid-glow-illuminator-30ml/p/p22131805

Do you think this would be good as a leg makeup? I am looking for a good one, as I am stupendously rubbish at fake tanning.

No, I don’t think so… I am sure Rimmel does one though.

Actually it’s pretty good for your legs and arms it gives very nice sun kissed look. You can only get it in larger Boots stores where there is a L’Oreal consultant. It’s free when you spend £20 on L’Oreal cosmetics.

  6. I bought it a while ago when it came out in Italy and it’s really a lovely product… Blends over foundation seamlessly!
