Lord & Berry Twisticks

A big yes for these Twisticks from Lord & Berry – crayons of full coverage lip colour in some very wearable shades.

And biggest joy? They don’t taste or smell of anything! No vanilla or mint to hang around on your lips all day.. definitely a plus in my book. The formulas are lovely and creamy as well.

When I say full coverage, they are.. they act like a sheen lipstick I think you could say, but as you can see the colours don’t blow you away. That’s what I like about these pencils – they’re wearable shades without being ultra-statement lips because not everyone wants a full-on, mega pigment pout. I’d say they’re everyday, juicy lip colours that you can wear any time at all for a splash, not a shout, of colour. You can, however, build the intensity as much as you like.

So, the shades from top of the pic to the bottom are: On Stage, Rock N Rose, Pinkmania, Must-Have, Arizona and Shut-Up.  And, not a bad price either at £11. They’re launching onto Lookfantastic next month so keep an eye out.

  1. I’ve seen a lot of lord and berry products on asos but had never seen swatches or anything, but these look really nice! Trouble is I have a lot of crayon ones at the minute.

Really lovely colours, and a great price point.

I am kind of past seeing these colour crayons on the market now, first Clinique with the Chubby Stick, then Bourjois with their version, I fear Lord & Berry (as much as I love their formulas) might be too late in launching their own version?
