Just a quick reminder that I am over in Dublin on Thursday (15th) for Look Good…Feel Better from 6 til 9pm at Harvey Nichols so if you have any burning questions about beauty or blogging and you live in Dublin, I’d love to see you.

It’s that time of year again – Look Good…Feel Better time! LGFB is a charity that is very widely supported by the beauty industry as it helps women with cancer with some wonderful self-esteem and confidence boosting, advice and make up to help manage the visible signs of cancer. It’s an oasis of calm advice and pampering in what is a very difficult time; the workshops are always full of fun and laughter.
I’m heading over to Harvey Nichols, Dublin this year on 15th November, along with fabulous Irish beauty writers, Ellie Balfe, Triona McCarthy and Laura Bermingham, to dispense any advice you might possibly want on the subject of beauty – although I’m very happy to offer advice on blogging as well if anyone would like it.
There are two ticketing options: £25 is VIP entry to the LGFB beauty event with a 15-20 minute session with any of the attending beauty editors, a specially created gift bag full of make-up and skincare products donated by Harvey Nichols and brands that support LGFB. There’s also champagne and canapés (but only if you beat me to it…).
The second option is a EU15 ticket, with hospitality and a goodie bag (which is slightly different to the EU25) and of course, access to all the counter activities, the canapes and us.
There will be so much going on at counters for the event; mini make-overs (don’t worry, not me doing those!), consultations and treatments plus a glamorous raffle. I know I have some readers from Ireland and I can’t think of a nicer way to spend an evening than saying hello… so please come!
The last time I went to Dublin and met some editors and bloggers, I had the best time – they were so friendly and I’m looking forward to meeting old and new friends.

  1. I’d love to go so much, but it’s on a day I’m leaving rainy Dublin for hopefully sunny Portugal… *goes-to-cry-in-the-corner* sweety

  2. Sounds like a great event & I’m delighted to hear you’re coming to Dublin BBB! I hope to make it and bring a friend or two along.

  3. Oh blimey, this makes my comment on your blog about the MUA giveaway look SO cheesy and contrived now, but I swear it wasn’t. (You’ll see what I mean when you read it.) I’ve been away at a wedding and I subscribe to your blogs by email, so I read the newest entries first and have just come to this one.

I’m so glad a charity like LGFB exists. It’s sorely needed. xxx
