If you haven’t heard of Look Good, Feel Better, it’s a fabulous charity that helps women manage the effects that cancer and its treatment can have on their appearance. Running free workshops to help women look and feel a little more like themselves again, the charity simply aims to boost confidence and morale at a time when a woman’s world can be upside down.

It’s a charity that’s been adopted, amongst others, by the beauty industry and each year Selfridges hosts a Beauty Editor’s day where editors go into the Beauty Hall on particular beauty counters to chat about all things beauty, offer advice and help you make beauty buys if you want to.

I’m going to be there in the Living Beauty section this year, minding my Ps and Qs, and ready to help with any beauty or blogging questions you might have on Thursday, 29th September from 12pm til 7pm. I have two hats on that day, BritishBeautyBlogger and as Metro’s Beauty Expert, so if you’d like to book a 15 minute slot, that will include a lovely goodie bag and a mini treatment (thankfully for you, not administered by me!) such as a hand-massage, I’d love to meet you. Appointments cost £20, all of which go to the Look Good, Feel Better charity to raise very valuable funds to allow the workshops to continue to take place and to help the charity carry on its work with women with cancer. Please come! You can book on 080 0138 8140.

I’ll also be heading up to Selfridges in Manchester on 12th October for their Beauty Night from 6pm-8pm to be on hand in case anyone has a burning beauty question! There will be lots of special offers on the night, a DJ and a glass of bubbly and tickets there cost £10, with of course, everything on the night being donated to Look Good, Feel Better.
