This is an interesting product.. I think that L’Occitane have shoved on a BB label to go with the trend, but it’s actually a very lovely coverage product. It’s got SPF30 and my product, in medium, blends beautifully. If anything, it’s reminding me of the DIORSkin Nude Tan BB Creme in texture and healthy-glow result but, just like DIOR, it needs some good moisturiser underneath. It’s also not dissimilar to Clinique CC in texture.
L’Occitane Sublime Beauty Cream BBThis shade is Medium and it’s exactly right for my tone – I do notice some ‘perfecting’ results in that it conceals marks on my skin to a certain degree.
L’Occitane Sublime Beauty Cream BBI haven’t completely blended it in so you can see how it goes on and against the colour of my arm (a different shade to my face, I might add), but it’s a very warming shade. Skin care wise, the sell is organic Angelica extracts which work on the skin to improve elasticity, protect from free radicals and boost natural skin hydration, plus Iris extracts.
All in all, for a brand that isn’t known for its colour, this is a pretty good entry into the BB ring. These will hit L’Occitane stores in a few week’s time and if you haven’t jumped on the BB wagon yet, this is probably a good place to start.
