Frisson: A moment of intense excitement; a shudder.
I love L’Occitane Frisson de Verveine; their latest offering for summer. Great name, for a start – I never met a frisson I didn’t enjoy! I’m flagging up the Ice Gel for Legs and Feet – keep it in the fridge during the summer and it’s the most refreshing thing ever bar actually dipping yourself in ice water.
L’Occitane Frisson de Verveine is a flash of lemon, cucumber and cedar wood laced with bergamot and verbena – it’s actually more gentle than you might expect but fast forward to searing hot days and it has an eau-de-cologne freshness mixed with sparkling zest that is everything cooling and happy.
L’Occitane Frisson de Verveine isn’t complicated – it’s the fragrance version of an iced gin & tonic at the end of a warm day. Lovely.
The range, which includes an EDT, a shower gel, the Ice gel and a Refreshing Body Mist launches in July.
