[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Okay, if you are after something fancy and impactful, L’Occitane has pulled out all the stops this year! There are certain things that arrive seasonally throughout the year that remind me of the industry calendar and how it works to clockwork timing (in a good way mostly) and this is one of them. I know Christmas is definitely on its way when the L’Occitane Advent Calendar arrives.
As you can see, it’s a pop up – so colourful and bright. It reminds me of a peacock tail although it is, in fact, a 1970’s pop art version of an olive tree. The whole thing from top to bottom is recyclable and made from sustainably sourced cardboard. Sustainability has been a big advent calendar theme this year, even more so than last year.
You can go luxury with the £115 version but honestly, I like this ‘classic’ just as well for topping up all those useful travel and handbag essentials. I love the idea that you get a little taster treat of this or that which is what I think advents should be about really. The size is perfectly manageable unlike some of the absolute monsters that we’ve seen – my only complaint, no day 25!

It’s got £122 value and is actually £3 cheaper at Sephora than it is on the L’Occitane website at £59 but hold that thought because I’ve literally just found it for £55.80 at Escentual HERE.
