Lipstick fans are in for a treat in February when the brand new Lipstick Queen Vesuvius Liquid Lips launches. They’re phenomenal!
![Lipstick Queen Vesuvius brush](https://i0.wp.com/www.britishbeautyblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Lipstick-Queen-Vesuvius-brush.jpg?resize=600%2C450)
The saturated colours are deposited using the brush system above – twist from the bottom and the liquid lipstick will appear. ‘Vesuvius’, as it turns out is very appropriate because if you are too enthusiastic on the twist, you’ll get far more than you bargained for. My advice is to twist gently, and even when the brush still looks white, wait a few seconds for the liquid to emerge.

Texture-wise, the formula really does feel like lipstick liquified – the first of the ‘liquid lipsticks’ to truly do so. It’s not a high gloss finish, more a high sheen, I would say, but the colour saturation is amazing.

See what I mean? Full-on colour, other than Vesuvian Bare which is a shimmering golden shade and something I would use as a topcoat I think. So, from left to right, Vesuvian Coral, Vesuvian Blush, Vesuvian Bare, Vesuvian Candy, Vesuvian Fuchsia and Vesuvian Red.
The Lipstick Queen Vesuvius Liquid Lips will cost £22 and be available in February at SpaceNK.
