Lipstick Queen Oxymoron Matte Gloss
Lipstick Queen Oxymoron Matte Gloss

While Lipstick Queen Oxymoron Matte Gloss isn’t new, there’s an amped up, romantic shade heading our way. Previously Lipstick Queen Oxymoron Matte Gloss has been available in fairly muted colours, but Open Secret is like a spring day for cheeks and lips.

Open Secret has gone straight into my keep drawer – I’ve been wearing it all weekend – but not as a gloss, as a cheek colour. Poppy King defines Oxymoron as matte coverage with the sheer feeling of gloss, and that does sum it up really – it’s a little ‘stiff’ to work into the cheeks if truth be known, but it blends better than many so called crème blushers do even with that caveat.

Open Secret is the loveliest fresh pop on the cheeks – a pinky-peachy hybrid, it instantly enlivens the complexion. I’m not so keen on it for lips because personally I don’ t love a matte lip, but there is no denying it is a smooth, gloss-like application that has no gloss. Weird! Open Secret hasn’t launched on SpaceNK just yet but it will be any day now I think. It’s £22.
