Lime Crime’s Velvetines have been so copied but I’m not sure anyone has quite got the magic as right as they have. If you haven’t used Lip Velvetines, they go on liquid and dry to a complete matte.

This one, Pink Velvet, is just as intense as Lime Crime’s other Velvetines and I love the rosy lid – gorgeous touch.

As you can see from the swatch, it’s pigment packed, rich and thick. The base formula leaves a stain so as it wears away you aren’t left with a completely bare lip. Pink Velvet is one for the statement lip and the brave! It’s £13.50 HERE.

    I must say I liked the old packaging a lot lot more :/ But it’s awesome that they are making more shades, I would love a purple one 😀

    It does look like a good shade! However I’ve been reading up on all the ethical issues regarding this brand and I was horrified, so it puts me off buying them!
