I’m flagging the Lime Crime Eyeshadow Brightener as something for every make up addict! It’s genius. Basically, an ultra-white cream with flashes of iridescence that uplights shadow colours.

I tested Lime Crime Eyeshadow Brightener under various colours and found that the change was quite dramatic in some cases – a little tube of this and your whole shadow stash is transformed.

I tested it over one of my favourite NARS Duos, China Seas, which are the first two colours from the bottom up. The first swatch has Lime Crime Eyeshadow Brightener under and the second is without, so you can see it really adds some oomp. The third (top) swatch is from a Charlotte Tilbury quad (the Sophisticate) which is matte, and it’s changed the shade completely from a warm brown to a cooler one.
I think there’s a lot of fun and experimentation to do with this product – I’m delighted to have it and am looking forward to seeing what else it can do! It’s also a very efficient primer.
You can find Shadow Brightener for £13.50 HERE.

To be honest surprised at the Lime Crime boost after what happened between the creator and bloggers. Not a nice person and many refuse to buy the brand.
I’m just looking at the product to be honest.. I’m aware of the conflicts but readers are free to make a choice. Product is great, but agree, history is not. x
This looked interesting as a product, but after seeing the first comment and reading up on the brand, I was disappointed; they don’t seem to be a very ethical business and I would be hesitant to buy anything from them on that basis.
This is such a good idea! I suppose it works a similar way to covering your eyelid with white eyeliner

I think this is fantastic for MUAs using bright colours, but as you mentioned with the CT eyeshhadow, it can change them a great deal. On the one hand, eyeshadows are created to go over skin, not perfect paper white so there could be some disappointment over shade changes, but I do like that it makes shadows more versatile.
Given the drama aside, this product is piggybacking on many vlog gurus using NYX Milk pencil as an E/S base.
Ohhhh!!!! Cool!!! Sooo bright color with this baby!
