Lights Of My Life

Candles – I love them. I almost always have one burning, filling the room with a lovely scent, and they’re just, well, ambient, for want of a better word. It’s true though, that after about 10 minutes I can’t actually smell anything at all unless I go out and come in again, so I do understand why some people think fragranced candles are more or less burning money! Still, I’m undeterred and at the moment am completely besotted with Cowshed Lazy Cow candle that’s made with two tone glass so when its burning you get a gorgeous pattern of fat flowers backlit by the flame. Two Christmassy themed ones I’ve got my eye on are Dayna Decker’s Every Frost Brings A Flower, 50 pounds, and Tocca Cortina, 35 pounds, both above. Just too pretty for words.
