This is a bit of a surprise limited edition collection (the more the merrier!) from Chanel. Les Intemporels de Chanel comes from the CHANEL Makeup Creation Studio which is interesting in itself – they’ve very recently got Lucia Pica on board as Global Creative Director of Make-up and Colour Design so it’s clear from the wording that we have yet to see anything from Chanel makeup that reflects her aesthetic.
This is my dream palette – I love anything with decoration on it and the interwoven chain effect that you can see is taken from the 2.55 bag. If you look carefully at the finish on the shadows, you’ll see that the formula has a ‘leather’ finish. From matte black all the way through plum and green blocky shades to a silver white, this is so all about the drama!
The additional piece to Les Intemporels de Chanel is a deep silver polish to reference the metal of the 2.55 chain. But, as you might expect, my heart belongs to the palette! So much so that I’m not actually ready to swatch it. Sorry :-(. I might never be.
Les Intemporels de Chanel launches into CHANEL Covent Garden, Selfridges W1, Selfridges Manchester, CHANEL Boutiques, Fenwick Newcastle, House of Fraser Glasgow and is available from 27th February 2015. The Palette is £47 and the polish is £18.
