Another beauty advent calendar hits the market with the Latest In Beauty/YOU offering that is really very impressive. Containing mini sizes of Steamcream, Philosophy, Aromatherapy Associates, Espa, Eve Lom and Benefit to name but a few, you get a very good mix of brands in this one and I think it’s well worth the £59.95 price tag (P&P is free).
It is heavy on skin-care and light on make up – although there is a mascara and a nail polish in there plus some Bella Piere mineral eyeshadow, and a couple of brands I don’t know at all.. Mirenesse and Mont Bleu for example, but all in all.. a goodie!

I ordered mine on Sunday – looking forward to it’s arrival!

Such a pity the Mail have a hand in it. I’d love to buy it but I don’t want to give any of my money to Northcliffe media, no matter how small the amount.
A gorgeous thing to have nevertheless 🙂

I would love to treat myself to a beauty advent calander, but I feel like I should be spending my money on other things. I may be wrong but I think Mirenesse is an Australian brand, I had a lip product from them ages ago, didn’t think much tbh!b x

I was adamant I wasn’t going to get a beauty advent calendar but now you’ve said it’s heavy on skincare and light on makeup, I may have to reconsider!
I thought they’d mainly be makeup. -
Oh wow I NEED this!!x

Mirenesse is quite a big brand in Australia and America, they sell a lot through parties I think?
The quality is very varied, i have a Touche Eclat type product from Mirenesse that i’d sell my soul for and their eyeshadows are beautifully soft and unusual colours. Their lipglosses are disgusting, smell of nail polish remover and sticky and I haven’t had any luck with their concealers either. They feature quite a lot in monthly sample boxes here in Australia too.
