Lancome Miracle Cushion Foundation

Lancome Cushion Foundation

I’m absolutely speculating here, but having spotted the Lancome Miracle Cushion Foundation on-line, I am placing the bets that this is our first one to the UK market. I know that French bloggers have already been talking about it so it isn’t an Asia exclusive product, so I really think this might be it.

I have very scant information (my French isn’t that great), but it’s a moussy texture with an SPF of 23 (strange number). From what I can tell, it’s getting favourable reviews so far. If you do have good French, there’s a full review HERE. Otherwise, I’m going to see if I can get my hands on one so I can do my own review of the Lancome Miracle Cushion Foundation.

  1. Wow I am really curious as to what the texture of this is like and how it works.

Well the girl that writes is not that wowed by it. To her it feels like a sponge imbibed in tinted moisturizer that you apply by getting some on the pad. She says that the application method is innovative nevertheless.

Personally, I am curious, though I still fail to see what this type of application method can infuse/contribute to a foundation/tinted moisturizer/bb cream.

Anyone knows what all the brouhaha is really about?

I am interested to poke these at the counter when they release! However, Asia sells empty cushion compacts now that allows you to turn your favourite foundation into a portable cushion foundation so that might be a good bet for people who don’t like the formulas released.

I just bought one of those cushion kits, it’s this one http://testerkorea.com/Product/missha-magic-cushion-case-3-items Haven’t put it together yet though. These sort of cushions have been big in Korea for a while now, but I guess it’s the sort of thing people are less likely to buy online unless they are very sure of the shade, so it hasn’t really spread to the West much. Maybe if Lancome are taking inspiration from Korea we will also see peeling gels, ampoules and sheet masks to follow.

This sounds a lot like the now discontinued Rimmel Match Perfection cream gel foundation which I used to adore. The texture of that one used to feel a lot smoother on my skin whilst staying light – maybe that’s what might make this one special?

  4. So happy it’s lancome, because they have a good shade range, looking forward to seeing what it’s like.

  5. We do have these in Latvia (Europe). As I know they gonna hit the stores in february.
