[unpaid/purchase] This gorgeous candle was a gift from a Ukrainian friend and it’s certainly perked up my interest in Ukrainian brands in the home and beauty space. Salty Candy has tinges of burnt caramel but it’s treated in the lightest possible way. I’m not usually a fan of gourmand scents but this is a little different for its ability to touch the senses in mellow and comforting way.

I haven’t thought a lot about matching my candles to my decor but you can see how seamlessly Salty Candy is going to blend into any environment. I’m a fan of reusing candle jars and my immediate thought for this is a little succulent.

Lalune Decor Salty Candy Candle Review

As you can see the candle has a wooden wick which gives a beautiful, wide flame without affecting the speed of the burn. I also like the initial smell of the burning wood that gives a smoky trail to the caramel notes.

As far as I can work out – bearing in mind my Ukrainian language skills are zero – they’re about EU30 each with fragrances that sound intriguing – Steppe Wind, Hooligan and Sunset… I wouldn’t say no to any of those! As we all know, things are still very tough for Ukraine and I’ve started following several beauty brands from that region because despite everything, there is a thriving beauty retail community and I want to know about it.  I’m not even sure if the candles are available to the UK – you can follow Lalune.decor on Instagram HERE and drop them a note if you’re curious.
