From what I can gather, Kylie Jenner Sinful Colors have been out in the US for a while, but it’s their debut at Superdrug in the UK. What I know about Kylie Jenner you could write on the head of a pin, so leaving the celeb angle to one side, there’s rather a lot to like about these at £3 each.
The shades above are Kreme de la Kreme, Miss Chief and Koko-Nuts.
The shades above are Kween, Kryptonite, Kommando and Slay Grey. I love Kommando, Koko-Nuts and Miss Chief for being shimmer infused pastel-nudes – they’re beautiful colours and something a bit different in the nude category.
Slay Grey is also gold shimmer infused but I found it quite watery with an even finish difficult to achieve – the same with Kryptonite which didn’t give a seamless finish even at two coats. The cremes seem to do much better in terms of finish.
I know I have the worst nail wheels in the world (this is my last one so a new – and better – order is in!) because they’re so raggedy at the edges but you can see how Slay Grey, even at two coats, just didn’t want to play. I’m definitely going to wear Kommando though – I love a nude polish and the fact that it has a little bit of shimmer to bring it to life is a real draw.
I have absolutely no clue why each bottle has Step 1 written on it. There are a few other shades – some are on line exclusives but it’s not that clear which ones, and more shades coming in June and July. For a £3 polish, I’m quite impressed – they need a little more effort than more luxury polishes, but I’m all for affordable products that do the job. You can find Kylie Jenner Sinful Colors HERE.
NB: Thanks to a lovely reader.. Step 2 is apparently the Top Coat!
