Kitten Mittens

So, what are Kitten Mittens? Basically, portable cashmere sleeves! I carry them around in winter and if things get a little chilly, pop them on under whatever sweater or top I’m wearing – the little frill at the bottom that peeps out at your wrist looks like you’re layering. But their best use is for winter parties when you know you’ll boil at the venue even in your best strappy dress but will freeze on the journey – no sleeves under a coat leaves your arms in some kind of icy hell. There isn’t a thumb bit, so they’re not like fingerless gloves, and they’re designed with the frill so they don’t look like like arm warmers exactly. In the picture above they’re folded, so you can wear them up your whole arm or even just half if you prefer. It’s also going to totally solve the obvious sleeveless coat trend problem of cold arms.
