Kiko Midnight Siren

There’s one word for this portion of the Kiko Midnight Siren collection, and that’s ‘bulky’! These gorgeous domes aren’t going to tuck in neatly anywhere, but they’re very tactile and almost ornamental so maybe that really doesn’t matter. I’m thinking of my keep drawer and knowing they wouldn’t fit in there.

So, there are two bronzing balls and two shimmer balls (insert own jokes here) – the Cream Radiance Highlighter (£10.90) is in a bronze shade (Alluring Sand) and a white-gold shade (Twilight Gold) with an almost gel like cream texture. The sheen is spectacular.

I did notice though that Alluring Sand had shrunk and was loose, which may just be my sample, but if you’re buying in store, you might want to actually check it first in case this is a production problem. The two embossed Illuminating Bronzers are Radiating Honey and Irresistible Sienna with the latter being dark. They’re a powder formula.

My instant obsession from this range is the selection of Moon Shadows (£7.90) – water-infused formula sticks that literally glide onto the lids. They also have a cooling effect because of the water and you can use them as a wash of colour, which I’m doing, or a build for a stronger look.

I would have to say that these are not long-stayers if you don’t use a primer. I found that the colour disappeared quite quickly from my lids leaving glitter behind, so a good primer is going to be essential. The shades above are Mysterious Chocolate, Attractive Plum and Glistening Turquoise.

The matte liquid Muse Lipsticks (£6.90) are the strongest products in the Kiko Midnight Siren range. They’re fluid and colour packed with a light feeling formula.

The shades above that I’ve swatched are: Galaxy Red, X, Embellished Peony, Naughty Mauve and Plushy Rose.

  2. I have never tried anything from Kiko before but I love the look of the shadow sticks. All three of those shades are stunning. Will have to find a Kiko store.
