Juku Nails

Look out for Juku Nails joining the ASOS line-up – transparent nail wraps that dissolve with nail polish remover so you can take them off just like regular polish.

I like the idea behind Juku Nails because you can put any nail colour underneath to customise them; you can paint over or under them (if you love nail art and you struggle with doing your right hand to the same standard as your left – if you are right handed, of course, then you can customise before application so each hand is perfect) to get exactly what you want.

I’m quite a fan of a decent nail wrap, although there are some truly awful ones out there – Juku Nails has far more flexibility in the stretch (you need to stretch them over the edge of the nail and then file away the excess) which makes all the difference to the quality of the finish. I steer clear now of papery nail wraps – they just don’t perform in the seamless way that the newer ones do.

Juku Nails launches on 7th August for £5.50. Wraps with designs on them are £7.
