Really, I should absolutely loathe this – and to be fair, on first spray I did. But after you let it settle, after the great blast of saffron and incense, it settles into something quite rich, opulent and sweet. It’s described as creamy and I’d say that’s exactly what it is – creamy, woody and quite masculine. I like it on the dry down far more than I ever expected to.
It launches in June and costs.. eek.. £100.
