Jo Malone Just Like Sunday

Just Like Sunday Collection
Just Like Sunday Collection

This is the first collection for a while that I have absolutely loved from the description only. Right from the get-go, the name tells you everything about it. Jo Malone Just Like Sunday is the variable Sunday mood that we all have and captures Sunday moments, whether that’s curling up by the fire-side, long frosty walks, breakfast in bed, cakes and tea – it’s all those things or anything that means Sunday to you.

The fragrances sound wonderful; Lavender & Lovage inspired by crisp, white, lavender-spritzed linen with a twist of aniseed from the Lovage. Green Tomato Leaf speaks for itself; earthy, sunny, warm and fruity, while Sweet Almond Macaroon has a cherry backdrop behind the almond. Finally, Incense & Embers is incense with silver fir and white pepper with nappa leather notes; designed for calm and cosiness.

I really cannot wait to smell these candles; sometimes Sundays need a bit of a boost, don’t they, and even if your Sundays are none of those things above, sometimes it’s more about what you wish for than what you have that can be the most resonating. If a bit of wax and fragrance can help you get there, then all is good.

Available from January 2014. Each Home Candle 200g £39 .

yes I have – some of them are beautiful but I like the older ones better than the new ones. I think you’d have to try for yourself though x
