Hello Sunday The Shimmer One SPF45 Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’ve still got a lot of make up to review but I’m giving my face a rest for today and focusing on products for elsewhere. So, this SPF45 shimmer stick from Hello Sunday is a beauty. I’ve got memories of holidays past of always having red shoulders and chest. The culprit, I am sure, was the last of the day sun, when we’d come back from the beach, showered, applied after-sun and headed out for cocktails.

Hello Sunday The Shimmer One SPF45 is that perfect evening sun accessory for the bits that are still exposed when you’re dressed and ready for going out. The application is obviously very easy – just a swipe over the exposed points (in which you can include cheekbones, knees, arms and hands) – and you’re all done. The texture feels thick enough to live up to its SPF45 label and includes sunflower oil, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E and the shimmer is a myriad of pink and gold reflections.

Hello Sunday The Shimmer One SPF45 Review

I’d definitely throw this in my holiday bag but probably wouldn’t head to toe it in my bikini – imagine! But, that does take me on to the point that the main picture shows how much product is available to you and it’s not a lot.  Yes, I’ve nerdily measured it and it’s one inch. At £22 for 20g it’s not more expensive than many other shimmer sticks giving exactly the same amount (and yes, looking at you Milk Make Up with your tiny 6g bronzing stick for the same price) and you can factor in the SPF but on the whole, sticks aren’t the cheap option, they’re the convenient option. If you’ve succumbed to the gloom of February and booked somewhere hot and lovely, this is one to add to the packing list. It’s HERE.
