Jo Loves Christmas Trees

Jo Loves Christmas Trees

With a sneaky peek at Jo Loves Christmas Trees, it’s impossible not to go festive on this one, even though it’s October. I know. It felt so strange rummaging around for my Christmas accessories!

Lots of people have fragrances that just send them straight into Christmas mode – one winter I had a BBB reader stop me in the street and share what her favourite Christmas candle was because she’d literally just bought it; she asked me not to tell because it’s one that not many people know about and I never have. That candle remains a secret to this day!

So, Jo Loves Christmas Trees is a winner – the first blast of the room spray is a sharp pine, followed by a warm lavender, incense and amber. For the candle, I got the amber first, funnily enough, followed by everything else. Because the pine and lavender are warmed up by amber and vanilla, it’s both fresh and cosy at the same time. Plenty of brands do Christmas scents; Jo Malone Pine & Eucalyptus is a classic, as is Diptyque Pine Resin, but Jo Loves Christmas Trees is softer somehow, and yet still has all the pine tree connotations.

I think, if I had to choose, I’d take the room fragrance over the candle but if you love fragrancing your home with a specifically festive scent, either will tick that box. Jo Loves Christmas Trees is a limited edition fragrance so do look out for it when it launches in November (I’ll try and flag it up). The room fragrance is £39 and the candle is £45. The Jo Loves site is HERE and I’m linking through to Pomelo Hand Wash – something that’s in daily use here.
