Jessica Nails Red Force

Who doesn’t love a red nail? But sometimes, that red nail doesn’t love you – or more specifically, your skin tone. I have to admit that I have never found a red shade that I thought made my nails look terrible or was at odds with my tone, but that could mean that most reds suit my warm tone – or I am indiscriminate and haven’t noticed!

I’ll run through the shades on the nail wheel going left to right and highlight which red is for which tone. Moroccan Lounge (warm tone), Love That Red (all tones), Love In Rouge (all tones), Red Square (fair tones), Picasso Red (warm tones) and Red Amour (pale tones).

I think that warm tones can get away with more shades of red than pale tones – the pale tone reds have more of a blue backdrop, so it’s the same principle as lipstick colours. Anyway, Jessica Nails Red Force is a beautiful line up of reds – I’ve already worn Love In Rouge that has a streak of metallic in it, as does Red Square.

The Jessica Nails Red Force limited edition collection has already launched and the polishes are £10.50 each HERE.

I can get away with most colours -and prefer something a bit unusual. But certain pinks make my hands look like those of an arthritic 90 year old.
Have you tried A England polishes? The formula is amazing, and their colour range unusual but very beautiful. (No connection!)

Yes, I have – they are beautiful.
