Ok, so this sophisticated product might have been developed with Shiseido and be packed with anti-ageing ingredients, but I was really disappointed with it. When I read round other reviews, everyone else says they get a more even skin tone, but not me. Light reflecting pigments, vitamins, microspheres et al had no effect other than to make me look rather (too) sparkly. I found it quite oily, far too sheer (hence I suspect, the name Veil) to have any noticable effect and little sparkles of glitter annoyed me every time I looked in the mirror…especially when the sun was shining to make things twinkle even more. Bah. At £32 for a product that’s neither one thing nor another, I just can’t see what it would bring to anyone’s make up bag.

I bought a Jemma Kidd lipstick the other day I love it but for £16 it’s tiny and going to run out fast!!

I had much the same experience with the Nubo Voile – couldn’t see much difference and it made me a little bit oily. So disappointing when everyone else seems to love it!
Perhaps our complexions just don’t need the help? 😉

I thought this was rubbish too – very disappointing. Just made me look oily. I just use it as either a primer or mix it with thick foundations to thin them down now… waste of £32 in my opinion!
