I’ve mentioned before that French fragrance press releases are beyond comprehension, even when they’ve been translated into English. I had another example today, describing the new Jean Paul Gaultier ad campaign starting in November that was so baffling I had to throw my hands up in defeat! Between us, the PR and I decided that I wasn’t feeling the ‘Gaultierness’ of it. But, what I can tell you is that the new ad (some stills shots above) is going to be a visual stunner. There is also a new collectable bottle of Classique that has just hit the shelves now – same bottle; new corset – this time in copper metal, £60. Interestingly, and one of the few bits I could follow word for word is that one bottle of Classique is sold in the world every 4 minutes.
