Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser

I’m so not a brush geek but my interest in brushes has increased tenfold since I started blogging. I’m more particular than I ever used to be and even things like ‘how best to wash your make-up brushes’ grab my attention. I remember when I first started blogging, I watched a video of someone washing their brushes, one after the other, and it went on forever – at the time, I couldn’t imagine how that was interesting, but I’ve looked and looked again for that vid because now I really want to watch it properly! This is a long winded way of getting around to introducing the Solid Brush Cleanser from Japonesque.

Made with goat’s milk, you wet your brush, swoosh it around the solid soap, rinse and dry. It’s that simple. I love this idea – brush washing is a faff, and the novelty of this is enough to make it much less of a faff. One of the best things about it is that it smells so clean and fresh. We probably won’t see the Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser in UK stores til end of March at the earliest and when it launches it will cost £16.

  1. This is so interesting!!!

  2. So it’s like washing it on a bar of soap but then on a bar of a product specifically geared towards make-up brushes. I love it! I personally find washing my brushes on a basic bar of soap to be the most fun way to wash them; and the most effective as well within a relatively short period of time.

  3. Sounds amazing! x

  5. I’m really interested in solid brush cleansers! I’m fed up of faffing around with liquid cleansers! Bring on the ease of this product!

I love the idea of this. It seems much less messy than the liquids. I wonder if it will be alcohol-free.

I have heard of this from ‘London Brush Company’ a while ago, I suddenly became so interested in brush cleansing before I even became interested in using different brushes for the eyes and parts of the face,

  9. Sounds great but does the soap not stain with pigment from the eye shadows etc?

  10. i have the solid brush cleanser that came with my beauty blenders and honestly i don’t think i could ever go back to liquid. when i used liquid, i wasted so much of it!
