The 72 actress fronts a campaign for a L’Oreal Anti Ageing Cream, and yet has just admitted to going under the knife – again. But, she’s one of the few who are happy to admit to it. Frankly, I don’t blame her for ‘tweaking’…ageing is soul destroying unless you can somehow find a way to settle into the changes your face is making for you. However, how disheartening for all those women who bought the face cream in the hopes that it might somehow give them the same glamorous looks as Jane. We can’t even blame L’Oreal here really – what Jane does with her face is up to her, not them. It’s as I keep saying, there is no cream in the world that is going to give the same effect as surgery and no Botox-like substance that gives the same effect as Botox. I never knock anyone for surgical tweaks (being a Botox fanatic myself) – other than the crazy duck-lip people, because lips like that are no role model for anyone – but wish, if they’re in the public eye flogging a cream (yes, Lulu, that’s you) please be honest and come right out with it.

Why anybody wants to risk full anaesthesia with 72 for erasing 1 or 2 wrinkles ??? No, I have no understanding for that.

I was abit confused by reading she went under the knife..why on earth would l’oreal keep her on? Even if she is truthful about what she does…does it not defeat the point of fronting an advert for anti-ageing creams? This is a genuine question..not me being extremely opinionated 🙂
As for lulu..didn’t she already admit to using botox etc before but not anymore because her products are so excellent? Is it lies? 😐

Just found your blog and love it! I used to be in the beauty biz and miss it terribly! Thanks for the great posts on what’s new out there…I’m not as “in the know” anymore…
Question – your thoughts on Dysport vs. Botox? I can’t decide… thanks! -
Surely any woman today of even moderate intelligence, is well aware that the “face” of a product didn’t get that way by use of it. If indeed the paid endorser uses it at all. Anyone know if that’s a prerequisite before cashing the big fat endorsement cheque?
Airbrushing was outed at least two decades ago and it’s a given that injections and surgical procedures are probably as important to some women in the public eye as regular trips to the hairdresser are for we lesser mortals.
I don’t think it’s a necessity for a “face” to ‘fess up what her amazingly age-resistant face and figure are a result of. We already know. If you don’t, you’re only fooling yourself.

At least she admits it… and she’s old and vain… can’t blame her for being a botox fanatic 🙂
