If you love the liquid lip matte look then Illamasqua Matte Liquid Lip Summer 2014 is going to cause excitement! Three new shades are on their way (30th April) and they’re all milky brights with plenty of impact. From bottom to top: Exotic, Surrender and Forbidden.
I’ve tried Exotic on my lips rather than just an arm swatch and it does come out a very acid orange when it’s over the natural skin shade of my lips, and I have to warn you, these are very unforgiving on the lip if you have even the tiniest flake of dryness. My lips are a little dry and it wasn’t at all flattering, so you might want to do some proper lip prep before diving in.
Otherwise, they’re pretty much doing what Illamasqua does best – giving high impact looks with a massive amount of pay-off! Illamasqua Matte Liquid Lip Summer 2014 launches on 30th April.

I’m loving the look of these! I love some of the shades Illamasqua offer in their existing matte lipsticks but I’ve never been able to wear them because off the very dry formula. I’m assuming these will be a lot easier to apply because they’ll apply like a gloss and then matte down.
