I’m doing a quick look at Illamasqua’s Christmas offering – the Envy Collection. I’ll get everything swatched over the weekend. Above is Blizzard; a gorgeously chunky clear-based iridescent shimmer wash for adding the ice to your winter mani. Blizzard is £14.50.

Although Maiden Intense Lipgloss is described as a warm peach, I think it’s more of a pale nude shade. It does have warmth, but it’s not peachy in the sense that we’d usually think of it. It’s £14.50.
- Illamasqua Envy Fatale Palette
To my mind, this isn’t really a very cohesive collection; I LOVE this palette but can’t quite connect it with the gloss and the nails. There’s a berry shade (love this!), a bronze gold, a chestnut brown and a violet, all in shimmering formulas – I have no clue how I’d put this together as an eye look but the Illamasqua site usually has brilliant tutorials showing how to get the look. This look isn’t up there yet but no doubt it’s on its way. Fatale is £34.

Other than some lashes (looking for some fruit to model those!) the final new item is the Sculpting Powder Duo (£26). Sculpting Powders are so a thing right now but still leave me a little baffled. It’s all just launched HERE.
Swatches on Saturday xx

The glitter nail polish looks Christmasy. Love the look of it
The berry shade looks gorgeous, I’d buy the palette just for that!

Those eyeshadows look amazing! I’d wear all four shades although not necessarily together! I get what you mean about the collection not really going together. Sheen xxx
