Illamasqua Christmas 2013 Envy Swatches

These Lush lashes (£14.50) from Illamasqua aren’t new but they’re suggested as part of the Christmas 2013 Envy look. They are MASSIVE! I think the biggest false lashes I’ve ever come across and they’re so soft and fluttery as well feeling surprisingly light for something so huge on your eye.

Illamasqua Fatale Palette

Next up, the Fatale Palette (£34), seen above, that gives much gentler swatches than you’d expect. I was expecting a smack of colour that would be hard to blend; the shades are intense but totally wearable.

They’re very workable colours – I’m looking at the golden shade, Bronz and pink-gold Ensnare as perfect partners. As ever, the formula is super smooth and buildable and it blends like a dream.

The Sculpting Powder Duo (£26) Palette – hmm, I don’t plan on contouring anytime soon, so I don’t have a feeling one way or the other about this but here’s how it swatches:

Finally, a quick picture of Blizzard Nail Polish (£14.50) on the nails, below:

I’m wearing it over a nude polish but actually think it will look much better over a very dark nail or a stark white.

  1. That nail varnish looks incredible. It would be amazing over a deep navy blue, just like snow on a frosty night!

I love lashy pear. Those falsies make even a fairly ugly piece of fruit look gorgeous.

  3. Lauren

Those lashes are insane! So wish I could pull them off. The fatale palette is beautiful, such gorgeous colours. Great post 🙂 x
