The I Heart Makeup Brush Sets have newly launched – little coloured brushes with crystal effect handles. They tie into the whole Mermaids or Unicorns debate – the green set is Mermaids Forever, the purple set is Pink Diamonds and there’s a sweet little pink set, too, called Unicorns Unite. Usually, I’m 100% Unicorn, but in this instance I’ve swapped teams to Mermaid!
The brushes themselves in the I Heart Makeup Brush Sets won’t worry the likes of NARS, but they’re perfectly usable, decently filled, soft brushes that will do the jobs of lining, blushing and applying shadow. I think if you have stocking fillers or teenagers to buy for, at £5 each, they’re a crowd pleaser. Obviously, it’s kind of essential to pop one in the basket for your own inner Mermaid or Unicorn ;-).
