Hong Kong Haul: Curvy Lip Silicone

I think this is my favourite thing from Mr BBB’s haul from Sasa, a well known beauty store in Hong Kong. I sent him with a list and pictures of things I wanted and the assistant in Sasa just whipped the list from him, filled his basket and found the nearest equivalent when something wasn’t in stock. So, in fact I had a few welcome beauty surprises. I picked this product out from the website because I was intrigued by the smooth lip picture and also the title, Lip Silicone. I’m obviously at a disadvantage because I can’t read any of the packaging so how much silicone is in it is anyone’s guess. It cost about £6.50 and is gorgeous on the lips. It does that milky thing that Stila does, it doesn’t slip off the lip needing constant reapplication and the texture is beautiful. The wand has a bendable mini-spatula applicator which is something I haven’t seen before. Take a look!

I have to admit Sasa stresses me out so MR BBB is a true gentleman to have gone there for you.

I prefer Bonjour they are a bit less mad but still rather hectic.

This gloss looks great! I wonder who is the manufacturer?

I love Sasa, and I too, took advantage of someone close to me travelling in Asia, so that they could bring me back goodies. Unfortunately, they didn’t have in stock most of the things I wanted but the things that I actually got were great~! If I visited a aSasa store in person I’d be in paradise!!:D

  3. Sasa is great!! Look forward to more!

  4. thanks for sharing – iv never heard of this brand before x

Mr BBB did good! Great everyday colour.

I have seen those wands before in Pop Beauty Aqua Lacquers – they seem more hygienic than normal doefoot applicators and of course don’t absorb product, but can leave a harder line of gloss around the edge of the spatula that you have to blend away. Takes some getting used to, but I really like them.

When we were in Hong Kong last year 15YO Daughter and I went mad in Sasa. In fact we managed to find two branches and went mad TWICE! It’s like being a kid in a candy store!

  7. Looks great! and the color is very pretty!!

  8. Lovely shade – I’d love to try some of the asian brands like this…
