Holiday Make Up Bag

Holiday Make Up
Holiday Make Up

I’m totally travelling light on my quick weekend in Spain. I’m only taking carry-on luggage so keeping make-up to the absolute minimum. I’ve popped in one of Origins Brightening Cream Eye Shadows, an Inika cream blush, Lanolips (because I can’t actually leave the house, never mind the country, without one), B. Longer tubing mascara for my bottom lashes, one of the new Stila Festival Lip Glazes, a cheap and cheerful Miners kohl and a lash extension coating mascara. And that’s it! Could you travel with this pared back lot – only eight make up items?

I think I could do it but I might have a panic attack along the way. I can usually minimize my makeup but skincare is another monster. I like to be prepared for everything including dry skin, surprise breakouts and irritated or oily skin. One never knows when you’re traveling!

  2. How is the Garnier Pore Perfector? I use their BB cream and love it.

I could, but I would choose a different 8 items:
    17 eyeshadow in Mardi Gras
Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Powder Pink
Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous
    17 Photo Flawless Mascara
    Rimmel Kohl Pencil in Brown
    Rimmel Eyebrow pencil in Hazel
    Max Factor Mastertouch Concealer
Probably no foundation, maybe the 17 BB cream?

I’d have to have a blush and eyeshadoe primer but I ‘ve learned to travel with very little : )

I’m not sure I could… I want to do know what you’re doing for skin care and travelling light, just the thought of not having my zillion pots and potions makes me nervous! Have a great weekend. x

  8. Omg you really have traveled light… I always have some kind of mini panic attack when packing my make up and before I know it ive got far too much. Well done you xx

Great post – my attempts at packing lightly always fail miserably!
I’ve tried the Garnier BB cream and I’m still trying to figure out what the fuss is about. I don’t understand how it’s different to any regular tinted moisturiser?
Another must I would add to the list is my trusty Lucas’ paw-paw ointment/lip balm.
    Hope Spain was lovely! xx
