Hidden Gems: Clarins Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate

Continuing on with my Hidden Gems series, where I look at products that aren’t new – far from it in most cases – and therefore don’t get the attention they probably deserve. This time it is Clarins Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate (better in the bath than the shower in my view) that is a stalwart of the Clarins Body range for very good reason.

It’s got a superbly mind clearing scent – rosemary, mint and geranium – that is rather earthy and soothing. If you ever use bath-time as ‘therapy’ then it’s just about perfect because the scent reminds me of spas: clean, aromatherapy-ish and relaxing. It’s not super bubbly but you can use it on a wash cloth and it gives a light lather for cleaning. The main thing, though, is that it feels like a proper treat. It’s not necessary, it’s not a must-have but it is most certainly a lovely-have! And we all need lovely-haves every now and again. You can find it HERE for £18.

  1. Keeping in mind I don’t know what proportion each of those oils are in the product, I put a drop of each on a cotton pad. Result; very pleasant indeed! I think I’m going to have to treat myself.

  2. This is one of my favorite scent! I love the Huile Tonic for body but the fragrance doesn’t last which is sad. I should get this since it’s less expensive and then I’ll be able to get my “fix” 🙂
