[unpaid/sample] I absolutely love these customisable lipsticks not least because in such an over-saturated category, Herrera Beauty has done something different and done it well. I just think they’re perfect for a wedding or anniversary lipstick (how special to have both partner’s initial charms together with a jasmine flower or a red heart and a tassel) or in fact, any occasion that needs marking with extra glamour. I have not stopped being thrilled with the first samples I had from this brand so I’m extra happy to have the new ones. So, in terms of new, there is a pineapple charm and three new cases – a beautiful, creamy yellow, a polka dot and light mint shade (some might say it’s Gucci green ;-)). Look out for similar incoming from Louboutin Beauty.
The ideal construction is to put the charms and the lipstick on the key-ring (bangle) and then shove a tassel (via magnet) on the lipstick for good measure.
There are 43 shades of lipstick in matte, satin or sheer (I love the sheers) and they’re all available as refills so you can keep on refilling for as long as you like. I was bemoaning the lack of grey toned nudes last week, and exactly my perfect shade appeared from Herrera Beauty in Nude Touch (sheer).
There’s also a customisable highlighter palette that starts out red and gold but can be turned black, white and gold with a magnetic cover.
I think, like many collections that I’m seeing, everything has a slight Covid delay on it. I imagine these were destined for pre-summer but have only just made it this side of autumn. I don’t think it matters – they’re gorgeous any time of year and in fact, I’d love a ray of winter sunshine with the yellow cap and pineapple. The shades here (completely with gardening wound!!) are 182 Blush Him and Nude 142 – both sheer. Refills are £25, Caps are £19, Charms are £8 and the Bangle is £12. You can find them HERE.
