I much prefer a scrub to live up to its name and properly exfoliate the skin. None of the flimsy ‘scrubbing beads’ that do precisely nothing but clog the bath for me, thanks. Generally, I bypass scrubs in tubes, thinking (no idea why) they’ll be a bit watery and thin, whereas as scrubs in tubs don’t hold those connotations – and in fact, I’m pretty sure a tub scrub is usually much thicker in consistency. So, Watermint Scrub in a tube was a lovely surprise.
It’s not tub-scrub consistency but neither is it watery and the smell is crisply minty. I’ve noticed that most mint products are bolstered in scent with vanilla or sweet notes, but this one really isn’t. It’s fresh and green and doesn’t smell of minty sweets. The scrub particles give an excellent exfoliating effect – I needed it over my legs which were neglected and in a horrible state of non-smoothness! Just using my hands to knead in the scrub was fine, and I was left with a very noticable smoothness. Along with the wake up scent, you can’t really want for more from a scrub. It’s a winner at £6.

Sounds great for £6!! I love minty products! x
sounds gorgeous 🙂
Will definitely be picking this one up next time I’m in London. It’s funny, I just reviewed The Breakfast Scrub by Soap and Glory yesterday and said EXACTLY the same thing as you about scrubs in tubes lol
