Bourjois is 150 years old this year! May sees their official celebration but while I know it is a heritage brand it is still a surprise to realise that its have been on the go for such a long time. So, there are lots of launches in this, their birthday year, including the vintage style blush pots above, which were originally produced in 1914. The design is from the 1930’s and they launch in May for a limited time.

This look shouldn’t work, but it does.. yellow nails are notoriously hard to carry off. Bourjois make-up artist, Cassie Lomas, gave me a really good tip that can be used with any eye-liner. Squiggle a good amount of liner on your hand, and then mix with some concealer to get a creamy eye shadow that’s a little bit milky. I’d never thought to do this but now it seems rather obvious.

April sees the launch of eight new So Laque Glossy Enamel Shades (the nail stickers that you see on the wheel are part of a March promotion which I’ll flag up nearer the time).

There’s lots more to come, post April so I’ll do more of a catch-up nearer the time. Personally, I am really pleased that on top of all this newness, one of my favourite foundations, Healthy Mix, has had a revamp, and there’s a Healthy Mix blush to come!
