Hairy Jayne Hair Perfume

Hair perfume is totally going to be a thing… I love my Chanel No.5 hair perfume and wear it nearly every day (even though I secretly know that it’s perfume for anywhere).. but a little indi brand from Brixton, London, has taken the hair fragrance concept and added in heat protection – so there really is a point to it. And, Hairy Jayne Hair Perfume is also a hair reviver for those flat hair days – or as it is right now as I look out at the deluge of rain, hat hair days. The perfumes are made with essential oils and your choices are Floral – Geranium, Bergamot & Vanilla, Citrus – Grapefruit, May Chang & Jasmine, Musk – Neroli, Vetiver & Patchouli. I like the sound of Citrus. I think it’s beyond a bargain at £9.

I love the concept of this brand – hand made in Brixton by Jayne (a hairdresser) and free from artificial colours, parabens and sulfates. There’s no factory in sight – it’s all whipped up on site. Do check out the Hairy Jayne website HERE – I think this brand has huge potential and it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if it went stellar.

But wouldn’t this interfere with the scent of your actual perfume? I’m very fussy about what I put on my hair too, so the lack of an ingredients list is off-putting to me.

yes totally it would.. so I think you go either/or to be honest. I am sure they can provide an ingredient list on request.

Oh yeah, I’m sure they can, I just think it would be hugely beneficial to actually put it on their site! Thanks for the speedy response.

I couldnt see a point in hair perfume – but adding it to heat protectant is genius!!

  4. I’m a huge fan of this brand! Love the shampoos and conditioners. I reviewed the taster kit in October x

Love the sound of this – especially the musk. Off to check it out. Bit more economic for everyday use than the Chanel! 🙂
