Guerlain Meteorites Perle de Blush

Guerlain

When you have an iconic product within your range, the challenge is always how to re-invent it so that it’s the same but different. Guerlain Meteorites Perle de Blush in Angelic Radiance is a wonderful example of keeping true to the product but giving it a stylish spin.

Basically, you can shove toile de Jouy on anything and improve it vastly, but Guerlain Meteorites Perle de Blush in Angelic Radiance is carefully and artfully done.

Inside the decorated pot, inspired by Guerlain heritage, are 3 shades of pearls that give a freshening pop of pink to the cheeks. Personally, it’s too shimmery for my liking, but the pop of pink is one of those outdoorsy, healthy looking flushes and you need only the tiniest dab of the puff.

I’ve done an exceptionally generous ‘puff’ here but you can see that you don’t need a lot. Truth be told, you’re better off applying with a brush, although I love the puff for the nostalgia of it.

Guerlain Meteorites Perle de Blush is £34 and launches alongside the rest of the Guerlain spring collection tomorrow (16th January).

  2. For the price of these perles, I do get disappointed that the packaging is cardboard. Come on Guerlain there used to be beautiful metal cases for these, which made for amazing collectors items.

Please can you change your emails. I much prefer how they used to be. I read them when I have a moment. I don’t want to click through to read them. Please, please, please can you change it. Obviously if the majority love it the new way then fair enough but I find myself not reading them now! No hate, we all try to improve etc but I just always loved your old email updates.

I know and I’m really sorry..but to be perfectly honest I have to trial it to see if it makes an impact on stats. If not, we can go as we were, which ideally is what I’d like to do because I know it’s a better reader experience. It’s so competitive now that it’s not an option not to try it. xx

  4. Puffs are impractical, but I love the boudoir feel that it gives! The brush looks very pretty. Thanks for the swatch!

Jane, if you’re after feedback, I agree with T about the emails. These look beautiful btw 🙂

I know.. but please give me a chance to try it … if it makes no difference then I will revert back but I’d like a couple of week’s grace (please!) to experiment. xx
