Glossier Balm Dotcom

I honestly wanted to like this a whole lot more than I actually did. Glossier is the product range from a site I’ve followed since it began, Intothegloss.com – it was one of the sites I most looked at back in the day when blogs were fewer and further between than they are now. Tight editorial, amazing pictures and up to date beauty news – that’s still the case actually – and now an on-point beauty range. The Glossier Balm Dotcom is probably the least interesting product although it’s a perfectly good everything salve – just not particularly any better than any other I’ve come across.

Glossier Balm Dotcom is on the UK Net-A-Porter site which I’m watching like a hawk for their adventurous beauty buying – I don’t know who is doing it, but they’re doing a great job and I’m seeing a body of brands that is moving towards being one of the most diverse selections in the UK. Currently, they’re stocking Temptu, LilahB, Jinsoon Polishes and Le Metier de Beaute (oh..one of my favourites!) and Californian natural skin brand Earth Tu Face and these are products that are nigh on impossible to get anywhere else.

I’m hoping they’ll be taking a fuller selection of Glossier, such as the skin tints or the Moon Moisturiser, but in the meantime, just browsing the Net A Porter beauty brand list is a very decent way to get rid of ten minutes! The Net-A-Porter beauty line up is HERE.

I’ve tried all the Glossier products now, I had the, delivered to the UK. The masks were for me, useless. This balm was good but nothing spectacular. The face mist stung my eyes like a *ahem*. But the skin tint and moisturiser were outstanding and like nothing I’d ever tried before. I hope they branch out, I’d love to see hair products and more cosmetics!

For me, balm dot com is the best lip balm I’ve ever used. It has saved them during harsh winters.

Jane, you’re a marvel! Net a Porter sell Jinsoon? I don’t even paint my nails normally but stumbled across a pic of the most stunning green polish from the brand & been dying to get my hands on some but no online stockists over here. I know they launched instore at Liberty this week but not online yet. Thanks Jane!

  4. I’m still searching for the perfect balm. The closest I’ve come is the Nuxe Reve De Miel, any other suggestions?

  5. I’ve tried the whole Glossier range and overall it’s pretty poor quality and overpriced. This product is just fancy vaseline. 🙁

It’s interesting you mention Vaseline because I thought the balm smelled exactly like Vaseline!
