This is very interesting (to me, at least). I think Glamglow Powermud Dual Cleanse Treatment is the first dual-cleanse-in-one that I’ve seen and I think the beginning of a whole new double cleanse trend. It really can’t be long before other brands start bundling up two products into one for a ‘double cleanse’.
Obviously, if you’re a double cleanser, then you’ll go through product much quicker. But if it’s one product, is it really a dual cleanse? Because I haven’t come across anything like it before – a mud to oil formula – it’s really hard to say if it cleans twice as much so you don’t need to double cleanse, or if that’s just it’s name. They say uniting mud and oil gives a deeper cleanse with purifying and nourishing as well. Glamglow Powermud Dual Cleanse Treatment uses four non-greasy cleansing oils and a four-clay blend; a third element is exfoliating. Kind of sounds like the answer to everything!
Glamglow is a brand I completely rate – everything I’ve tried from this new-ish range has worked very well for me so I really can’t wait to get my hands on this. It’s already in Sephora US I think, and will retail here for about £40 – no idea when though.
NB Have just had confirmation from Glamglow that it’s a once-weekly intense cleanse.

Hi Jane – I think I must be the only person that doesn’t rate GlamGlow – I don’t normally have sensitive skin but this brand breaks me out something rotten and we are talking those hard, painful cystic spots that develop in places that don’t usually break out. I would love to be one of the many that rave about this cult brand but sadly my skin says ‘no’! Shame eh?
You know what, I think it IS quite strong and active so I’m not that surprised to hear it.. I wouldn’t recommend it for sensitive skin at all.
I have been wanting to try a GlamGlow product for ages now – this has definitely tempted me to splash out and buy something from their range xx

Hi- Omorovica’s Thermal Balm cleanser uses different oils (two, I think) and also something called ‘silt’ which I guess is like mud! I really like the combination, it’s great on my dry skin. I’ve read a lot about OCM (oil cleansing method) recently in a few forums. It seems to be a trend to use oil in cleansing but it’s a trend I think like!
Interesting!.I love beauty products that features mud/clay etc…Although I still need to check a bit more abt the product composition and other things, I would be happy to give it a go!
I love the other Glamglow products so i’m very interested in this and will defiantly be giving it a go! 🙂
