Givenchy Press Kit

I think this press kit is from about 2005/6 although I think all the rusty colours look quite 90’s.. everything is still as pristine as it arrived.

I don’t know if you remember Givenchy Lash Pearls (from about 2006); it is a clear fluid that you were supposed to dab on your lashes and it would form into little crystal drops to look like dew drops. Great theory.. but in practice it looked a bit gluey. And anyway, what’s the point of wet lashes if the rest of you is totally dry. At the time, I remember being blown away by the innovation, but the reality wasn’t quite as exciting. While I was looking online trying to date it, I spotted a review from the Beaut.ie girls here: Beaut.ie

I’ve always wanted the lash drops! They always looked amazing in pictures 🙂

  2. Sorry to read that the lash drops were a disappointment! I agree that the colors in the press kit do look 90s-ish, but I love the nail polishes!

I was gifted with Lash Pearls- loved the idea, but result was so poor. It eventually got bad and landed in the bin 🙁 I still remember unusual Lancome accessories from ages ago- liquid blush Extrait de Vie, lace eyebrow Kit Dentelles, they were so extravagant!

  5. Oh I remember those drops! I had some from Pupa, picked up when on holiday in London. Nope they never worked correctly and were such a disappointment, as they looked beautiful in pics. If its any help, I’m pretty sure I got them in early 2002. XXX Suzanne
